Maximilian Haedicke is professor for Intellectual Property Law, especially for Patent and Copyright Law, at Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg, Germany. Before joining the Freiburg Law faculty in 2005, he practiced as attorney in Munich and Düsseldorf in the field of patent, copyright and competition law. Between 2013 and 2017, he was also a Judge at the Patent Division of the Düsseldorf Court of Appeals.

Being a skilled mediator, he is also active in the field of alternative dispute resolution. He has testified either by deposition or at trial as an expert in patent law and practice in various cases. His publications focus on various aspects of intellectual property law,
especially patent, copyright and licensing law.
